Vernacular Criticism
Kevin Killian and Brian Droitcour will read and discuss their contributions of critical and creative reviews to Amazon.com and Yelp (respectively). The well-loved San Francisco poet and writer Kevin Killian has posted 2,500 reviews on Amazon.com since 2001, and NY art critic Brian Droitcour has posted dozens of art reviews on Yelp.com. Both writers invest their métier in socially inflected domains that have, arguably, a greater level of visibility than any print media. Bar at 6pm, event at 7pm
