Hypnotic Show
Organized by curator Raimundas Malasauskas and hosted by Marcos Luytens, the Hypnotic show is a guided process of self-generated cognitive acts, combining art and hypnotic trace. The current iteration is based on texts included in Malasauskas’ book Paper Exhibition . After starting off in 2008 in San Francisco at the Jessica Silverman Gallery , the Hypnotic Show traveled to several venues across many countries (including Kadist, Paris ) and was recently performed at Documenta 13 in Kassel, Germany this past summer. On Wednesday October 31st, Halloween in the US, the project returned to San Francisco. Reception at 7:45pm
