Collection in Residency
New residency format: Kadist’s collection becomes a tool for another institution. Reflecting on the ownership and usage of a collection, Kadist introduces a new residency format. Collection in residency is an institutional collaboration in which Kadist’s collection becomes a tool for another institution. Through a selection of works, the partner institution is invited to conceive a one-year program using different formats and adapting the presentation of the collection to the specificity of their context and publics. Considering the collection as an object that favours the invention of institutional approaches, Kadist wishes to share, even temporarily, its collection as a symbolic and curatorial value.
