Art With Elders, Closing Reception and Sale
HOLIDAY SHOWCASE, our window display exhibition of artworks facilitated by Bay Area non-profit Art With Elders, closes on January 20. To mark the occasion, all works on view are are available on a sliding scale to provide greater opportunity for purchase. All proceeds directly benefit the continued programming of Art With Elders and are listed between 25 and 300 dollars. Founded in 1991, AWE provides 2,000 art classes each year for more than 400 seniors throughout the Bay Area. Taught by professional Artist Instructors, elders gather in small groups for two hours each week to learn new skills and create art. Through art classes and exhibitions, AWE harnesses the power of creativity to build community and offer expanded modes of expression.
