The QiH Act Hosted by David Kasprzak & Anthony Discenza
Klingons are lovers of opera, which is the fulfillment of their aesthetic ideal: the impact of two opposing forces. Recognizing this unexplored strain of extra-terrestrial culture, Dutch artist and researcher Floris Schönfeld developed “U the Opera,” (which has been seen across Europe) as the first Klingon opera performed on earth. Out of this project Schönfeld produced a short film “The QiH Act,” which was screened at Kadist SF, followed by a conversation with the artist.
