Shahzia Sikander: The Last Post (2010) Hosted by Hou Hanru
Hou Hanru, Director of Exhibitions and Public Programs at SFAI, introduced Pakistan-born artist Shahzia Sikander’s recent video The Last Post (2010), followed by a discussion with the artist. The work, culled from the Kadist Collections, is “inspired by Sikander’s ongoing interest in the colonial history of the sub-continent and the British opium trade with China.”
