Lawrence Rinder, Director of the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, chatted about art and the art world with Jack Wendler, founder of London’s highly influential Jack Wendler Gallery (1971-74), co-founder of Art Monthly magazine, and co-founder (with Liam Gillick) of G-W Press (Gillick-Wendler Press). Throughout his long career, Wendler has supported artists including Robert Barry, Lawrence Weiner, David Askevold, John Baldessari, Marcel Broodthaers, and Daniel Buren.
