A Meeting for Ray Johnson
Saturday November 22, 5pm On the occasion of the book release Not Nothing: Selected Writings by Ray Johnson (Siglio Press 2014, ed. Elizabeth Zuba), Kadist Art Foundation will host an inquiry into the art and writings of the “most famous unknown artist.” Embracing the spirit of Ray Johnson’s correspondance school, the evening brings together a network of individuals to situate Ray’s writing within his broader artistic practice and its many dimensions. Participants include: Bill Berkson , Kevin Killian , Ronald Peetz, Frances Richard , Cedar Sigo , Dino Sirin, and Jordan Stein , with an interactive artwork by Andy Gonzalez.
