The book is the sui generis publication of the proceedings of a conference held in January of 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, which was organized in celebration of the tenth anniversary of Krishen Jit’s death. In case the reader does not know who he was, Krishen was a paramount figure in the history of contemporary theatre in Malaysia and Singapore during the last third of twentieth century.
