Figure 1: Malaysia’s Censorship Violations, 2010 - 2022 Malaysia, recorded the highest number of violations with 245 cases between 2010 – 2022. This can in part be attributed to the ongoing work of multiple organisations documenting censorship practices in Malaysia, such as annual reports by NGOs such as SUARAM and Article 19.
