Apply for 2024 Visual Arts Residencies at Banff Centre Skip to content Amber Müller St. Thomas during Spring 2023 BAiR (photo by Rita Taylor) Banff Artist in Residence: Spring 2024 & Summer 2024 Spring Deadline: January 10 | Program Dates: May 6–June 7, 2024 Summer Deadline: April 10 | Program Dates: August 12–September 13, 2024 The Banff Artist in Residence (BAiR) program offers visual artists the space and time to engage in intensive, self-directed research and studio practice in a supportive learning environment. Participants are provided with a studio, accessible 24 hours a day, as well as targeted access to our extensive facilities. This program is for visual artists with an exhibition/publication record who have completed formal training in visual arts at the post-secondary level, or who have equivalent experience and recognition from their peers.
