The Eternal Frame
A legendary collaboration between Bay Area artist collectives Ant Farm and T. R. Uthco, The Eternal Frame (1975) documents a restaging of the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963. It’s also one of the earliest examples of reenactment in contemporary art. Following the screening, BAM/PFA Adjunct Curator Constance Lewallen led a conversation with artists Doug Hall, Diane Andrews Hall, and Chip Lord.
