OCAT Shanghai and KADIST are pleased to announce that Wang Tuo has been selected for a research residency at KADIST San Francisco as part of the OCAT x KADIST Emerging Media Artist Residency Program 2020 The artist was selected by an esteemed international jury from the shortlist of artists selected for the Emerging Media Artist Exhibition 2020. Wang Tuo has been awarded a three-week fully-funded research residency on the merit of his eminent media practice, the quality of his past works, and his residency proposal. While in residence, he will have a unique opportunity to engage with the San Francisco Bay Area art scene and local community, and further his research on East Asian scholarship and artistic practice within the context of the West Coast of the United States.
