Erick Beltrán
This interview conducted by Rodrigo Ortiz Monasterio was shot at Museo Tamayo in Mexico City and was produced by Kadist Art Foundation. Here, Beltrán elaborates on Atlas Eidolon, a sculptural model addressing the notion of collective memories through image production. Basing his research on renaissance systems of art and memory by Ramon Llull and Giordano Bruno, Beltrán also references Ady Warburg, the founder of modern iconology as developed in Warburg’s Atlas Mnemosyne.
